Chocolate covered strawberries are making their appearance in the center displays of stores which can only mean one thing… valentines day is upon us! I’m always a fan of chocolate dipped strawberries, so why limit them to the valentines day season? Enter, chocolate cool whip fruit dip.
I love to make fruit dip with cool whip because the cool whip is light, airy, and creates a perfect whipped texture to dip fruit or crackers in. While this is chocolate cool whip, cool whip can actually be mixed with lots of different flavors like peanut butter or caramel to create the perfect fruit dip.
Why you’ll love this recipe:
This easy chocolate cool whip fruit dip will be a family favorite because its:
Low in added sugar: Cool whip has just one gram of added sugar per two tablespoons and we are using unsweetened cacao powder to create the chocolate flavor. If you want to sweeten it a bit more, I would mix in the suggested honey or even some powdered sugar.
A no bake recipe: this dip comes together in just one bowl with minimal mess and clean up.
Easy to use in a variety of ways: can be used on a valentines day charcuterie board, apple tray, or even paired with your Saturday morning waffles!
Fun for kids!: If you want to get your kids to eat more fruit, sometimes it’s helpful to pair it with a fun dip and this cool whip fruit dip could be the perfect match.
And so much more!
