Blended Mango Overnight Oats

Want to make overnight oats with no chia seeds? This is the recipe for you! Oatmeal blended with the tropical flavors of mango and coconut milk, these mango overnight oats will have you feeling like you stepped out of your morning routine and right into a beach vacation!

I’m a big fan of making overnight oats. They’re super nutritious, incredibly convenient, and can be made with so many different flavors and toppings.

While traditional overnight oats are made by mixing oats with a liquid and allowing that to sit in the refrigerator overnight, lately I have been loving making blended oatmeal instead. With a smooth and creamy texture, blended oatmeal has a texture more similar to that of a thicker pudding.

With only 5 ingredients, these mango overnight oats with no chia seeds are my new favorite blended oatmeal recipe. Oatmeal blended with mango and coconut milk then served over chunks of fresh mango, every bite is filled with tropical flavors that I know you’re going to love!

  • No chia seeds: Overnight oats with no chia seeds coming right up! Of course, you can add chia seeds to this recipe if you prefer them but this recipe does not call for chia seeds.

Ingredients:

You’ll just need a few ingredients to make this easy bruschetta cottage cheese toast including:

  1. Old fashioned oatmeal: I prefer old fashioned oats for overnight oats but you can also use quick cooking oats since we will be blending this recipe.

  2. Frozen mango: This is what will be blended with the oatmeal but you could also use fresh mango!

  3. Coconut milk: I used full fat coconut milk but you could use lite if you want to lower the calories.

  4. Honey: optional, but adds a hint of sweetness.

  5. Fresh mango: For topping.

The process:

These mango overnight oats truly could not be easier to make. All you’ll need to do is:

  1. Add your old fashioned oats, frozen mango, coconut milk, and honey to a blender then blend until smooth.

  2. Pour that into a glass container and refrigerate overnight.

  3. In the morning, top with fresh mango slices and enjoy!

Swaps & Substitutions:

There are plenty of ways to serve this recipe exactly the way you like it including:

  • Add protein: Add vanilla greek yogurt, a scoop of protein powder, or some cottage cheese to this recipe if you want a boost of protein. You may need to increase your liquid slightly to keep the texture light and creamy.

  • Add tropical toppings: Add toppings like shaved coconut or finely diced pineapple to deepen the tropical flavors.

  • Add mix-ins: As written, this recipe makes mango overnight oats with no chia seeds because some people find that chia seeds upset their stomach. If you want to add chia seeds, go ahead! You can also add other mix-ins like ground flax seed, protein powder, or hemp hearts.

  • Serve hot or cold: Yes, you can eat overnight oats warm. Toss in the microwave or warm in a saucepan, then top with fresh mango for a warm and cozy breakfast.

  • Skip the blending: if you prefer traditional overnight oats, you can skip the blending portion of this recipe. If you choose not to blend the recipe, I would increase the amount of coconut milk used to 3/4 cup.

    1. This overnight oats recipe can be eaten warm. Either warm it in the microwave or add to a medium saucepan over medium heat, stirring often until warmed through. Then, top with your fresh mango slices.

    1. Per the USDA, you can refrigerate the leftovers for 3 to 4 days and enjoy throughout the week. This is the perfect recipe to meal prep your breakfast!
